In 2010, we set up an accredited training centre, TRANS-FORM, for refreshing the skills of professional drivers.

Every year, all of our drivers follow the training courses needed to meet the professional skills requirements.

We have also opened up the training centre to drivers from other firms, in DUTCH only.

Gheeraert Transport has specialist mechanics in house who carry out maintenance, bodywork modifications and repairs to the fleet.

We also offer our repair service to other firms.

It’s always the first impression that counts. And this is also true on the road.

That is why our garage assistants make sure that the fleet is clean and fresh. We also offer our truck cleaning services to other firms.

Loppem truck-wash (nearby Bruges) opening times

• Monday to Thursday: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Friday: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Saturday: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Gheeraert Transport's premises (near to the E40 motorway, exit road 7 - Loppem) has a mirror adjustment area. This is where lorry drivers can correctly adjust their mirrors. By correctly adjusting their mirrors, lorry drivers not only reduce the size of the blind spot, but also the chance of a blind spot crash.

An instruction sign allows drivers to see which zone should be visible in which mirror.
